Her mom Kelly Alligood is a blogger. She also used to run a successful preschool music and movement business. Kelly left her job since she had to accompany her daughter to her auditions, screen tests, callbacks, and bookings.
Her parents have been very supportive of her career. She lives in her native Birmingham with her family. She also has a younger sister, Avery, who also happens to be her greatest fan.

Hannah used to play in church theater. She did not use to get nervous in front of a big audience. Therefore, at a young age, she was not afraid to stay in front of 8 thousand people.

Hannah Alligood made her appearance in 2013’s Short film titled The Mighty Magic Cape II. In 2015, she made an appearance in another TV series titled Powers for Episode: “Mickey Rooney Cries No More”.
This was followed by her feature film debut in Paper Towns (Drama/Mystery) in 2015. As Young Margo Roth Spiegelman, she acted opposite Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne. Hannah shares the experience of working in Paper Towns as,
“It was definitely a fantastic first experience. It was magical. I got to meet John Green. I was actually so excited that I zoned out when we first met — I wasn’t even hearing anything he was saying. Then a few hours later we were talking again, and I was like, ‘OK good — that makes up for earlier.’ He’s nice and funny.”
