David Boreanaz & wife Jamie are expecting their second child

Bones cutie David Boreanaz and his wife Jamie are expecting their second child. They are already the proud parents of 6-year-old Jaden Rayne. David let the happy news slip when he was appearing on Live With Regis & Kelly this morning. He’s not known as the brightest bulb, so this “slip” could have been planned, or he could have had a genuine “whoops” moment. OK! has more:

David Boreanaz must’ve let “Baby Week” on Live With Regis & Kelly get to him – the Bones star accidentally let it slip that he and wife Jamie Bergman, parents to 6-year-old Jaden Rayne, are expecting another child!

The pregnancy alert came as he explained how he gave his son the “birds and the bees talk,” saying, “I said, ‘Jaden, you’re aware that Mommy and Daddy are having a new baby?’ ”

Sharp-eared host Kelly Ripa didn’t let that go, as she piped in, “Wait, did you just say you’re having a new baby?” she asked.

“I said that?” replied David. “Oh yes, I did, I’m having a new baby. It’s baby week—I knew this was going to happen.”

David Boreanaz is probably most famous for his role on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but I never watched that show. My only exposure to him is on Bones, and I’m half in-love with the big lug. He plays a real sweetheart on that show, playing FBI agent Seeley Booth, who is in charge of Emily Deschanel’s Dr. Temperence Brennen. David’s wife, Jamie Bergman, is a former Playboy bunny and sometimes actress. Congratulations to the happy couple.
