Stranger Things season 4 is looking for extras!

According to Backstage.com, Stranger Things is casting extras in three categories: Russian-looking actors, gymnasts, and general extras.

If you are interested in being an extra in Stranger Things, you can apply via Backstage. You do need to submit a headshot, be over 18 years old, and live in or around Atlanta.

Obviously, the Russian-looking extras and the general extras are expected in the new season. The Russians played a huge role in the third season, and we know they are going to play an even bigger role in the fourth season.

The most interesting casting call is for the gymnasts. Why are they looking for gymnasts for the new season? Hopefully, we’ll get to find out soon!

Unfortunately, no dates of production are listed on the application or report. And, that’s really what fans want to know about Stranger Things season 4.

We still don’t know when Stranger Things season 4 will resume production. The series shut down production in March, and they have not filmed any more scenes since then. If there was no shutdown, the season would have finished filming by now.

It was reported that Stranger Things season 4 would restart production in September, although that has not been confirmed by Netflix.

Obviously, this is a very good sign for Stranger Things season 4 production. They wouldn’t start looking for extras if they weren’t planning on filming in the near future. I don’t know if they will actually start filming in September, but it seems like it will start happening sometime this fall.

Stranger Things season 4 was also going to film some of the season in New Mexico. We don’t know if that’s still the case or if they will skip that and film the full season in Georgia.

There’s still so much we don’t know about season 4. We’ll likely learn a lot more about the restart of production and the rest of the season in the coming weeks.
