Sergei Ovechkin, Ilya Alexandrovich Ovechkin

Alexander Ovenchkin was born on 17th September 1985 in Moscow. The Russian born is an ice hockey professional who plays in the NHL. He plays as a left-winger for the Washington Capital and also captains the team. Ovechkin was included in the list of the 100 greatest NHL players in 2017. Ovechkin made history in 2018 by winning the Stanley Cup for the first time and taking home the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoffs’ most valuable player. Tatyana Ovechkina is Alex’s mother, while Mikhail Ovechkin is his father.
