Akshata Murty is a British-Indian businesswoman, social activist, venture capitalist, and fashion designer.

However, she has gained worldwide fame from her famous husband and father. Her husband, Rishi Sunak, is the British Prime Minister, and Conservative Party leader.

On the other hand, her father, N.R. Narayana Murty is the founder of the Indian multi-national IT company Infosys and Sudha Murty.

She was appointed as the director of the venture capital fund, Catamaran Ventures in 2013.

Shortly after, Along with her husband, Rishi Sunak, she co-founded the London branch of the Indian firm, which is originally owned by her father, N.R. Narayana Murthy.

In 2015, Akshata Murty was elected as the Conservative MP for Richmond after which he transferred his shares to Akshata.

Since 2015, Akshata Murty is the owner of a 0.91% or 0.93% share of her father’s technology firm, which is worth £700 million as of April 2022.

As an investor, she has shares in two restaurant businesses owned by Jamie Oliver including, Wendy’s in India and Koro Kids.
